Initial Consultation & Design Agreement:
Unlike many interior design firms or workrooms, we do not charge an initial consultation fee. During this preliminary meeting, we discuss your vision, needs, and budget and the services we offer, as well as discuss the cost structure of our design services. If we decide to go forward, we will prepare an outline of the scope of work, materials involved, timeline and estimated budget. We will require an initial deposit (which will be applied to the final invoice), draft a design agreement and begin work.
 

Design Work:
Space planning, CAD drawings, overall design and lighting plans, color and style development, elevations, demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, tile/flooring/cabinet/appliance specifications, fixtures, accessories, furnishings, collaboration with contractors and trade professionals, obtaining and sourcing fabrics, custom designing furniture pieces and other work may be involved. 

 

Cost of Construction Materials and Furnishings:
Prices can vary widely depending on the choices we make for your project, we will provide quotes for products prior to purchase. We will discuss your overall budget during our initial consultation and will work to source and offer products that work within your parameters.

Our Fees:
We work on an hourly basis. Design services are $250 an hour,  CAD (computer design work) and Sourcing is $125 per hour,  Drive Time is $50 an hour. Initial deposits will be determined based on the total estimated scope of each project, and will be applied to the final invoice. Once the project begins, billing takes place each week, with a detailed explanation of the date, work performed, products, and time invested in 15 minute increments. Additional projects, materials and work that arise during a project will incur additional work time and costs. We will discuss these and provide additional estimates, as they occur. 

 

One-Time Consultations/Home Staging Services:
We realize that not all projects need our full interior design services. Sometimes a single consultation is needed to resolve a design issue. We are happy to offer our design expertise and collaborate during a 2 hour, on-site consultation, for $350. Home staging services are determined on a per job basis.
